In Canada, Baileigh Cold Cut Saws come in three different forms directly from the factory: They can be fully automatic, which means they operate autonomously, offering high efficiency and precision in cutting operations. The next available option is the semi-automatic, which combines manual and automated features. These saws provide flexibility while maintaining productivity. We also offer them as manual Cold Cut Saws. Operated entirely by hand, these saws are suitable for smaller-scale operations requiring precision.
Our Cold Cut Saws are usually in stock, and shipping and delivery are extremely quick!
Discover the precision of our industrial Cold Cut Saws. Baileigh offers a wide selection of high-performance Cold Saws for efficient metal cutting.
Baileigh Cold Cut Saws come in many different models and sizes. Our smallest model comes with a 9-inch blade, the more common sizes come with a 10-inch blade, and our biggest model comes with a 14-inch blade. They can all cut at 90 degrees and angles. Please note the size of the material will decrease as you start to cut tighter angles such as 45 degrees, etc.
Every single Baileigh Cold Cut Saw model comes with some sort of vice to hold the material down. The manual Cold Saws have a simple vice, tightened by hand and released by hand. Some of the semi and automatic models come with pneumatic vices that hold and release via pneumatic force and are usually automated by a switch or button or when the saw is in operation.
Selecting the right Cold Saw for your application and needs will depend on a few key factors. Speed, Precision, Material Type you are cutting—and most importantly—your Budget. Customers looking to save short term can purchase one of the manual machines that will provide them with many years of cutting precisely and accurately. If your budget permits, a semi-automatic or automatic Cold Cut Saw will save time—which means it will save you money long-term.
As far as material goes, most Cold Cut Saws can be retrofitted with a blade to cut a specific type of material. If your application requires cutting aluminum, you will need a specific Cold Saw that cuts aluminum. Aluminum requires a faster blade RPM, rotations per minute, so the blade doesn’t “gum up”.
All Cold Cut Saws come with some type of cooling system to prevent the blade from wearing out prematurely and heating up excessively as this can deteriorate the blade’s life considerably.
